Cambodian Fish Scoop

A fish scoop basket made of wickerwork. One of the most elementary and common fishing devices used in the Cambodian Mekong River. Used for fishing in shallow water areas. Water sieves through quickly with a semi-circle movement in the same direction allowing the fisherman a quick glance to see if any fish are caught. An interesting item to display at home.
